Dramm ColorStorm Professional Rubber Hose was designed to equal Dramm's watering tools in quality — "durable, flexible, and visible." The cover is EPDM rubber for a crackless, abrasion-resistant, weather-resistant outer that will not check or split like the cheap vinyl hose that fails in a single greenhouse season. The cover is also molded in Dramm's hexagonal Sure-Grip pattern, which both reduces kinking and gives a softer, more comfortable grip than round hose. Inside, the hose is reinforced for serious operating pressure. ColorStorm carries a 130 PSI working pressure and a 500 PSI burst pressure, and it is hot-water rated to 160°F and remains flexible down to -25°F — letting you use the same hose in heated greenhouses and unheated cold-frames. Ends are crush-proof, nickel-plated brass, machined for a precise thread and clamped on a brass ferrule so they will not pop off in service. ColorStorm Pro hose is distributed by Dramm worldwide in 5/8", 3/4", and 1" diameters and 50, 75, and 100 ft factory lengths. Custom lengths and 330-ft bulk rolls (17999 / 17989) are also available. Bright yellow ColorStorm hose is sometimes labeled "CAUTION TRIPPING HAZARD" — a feature growers, contractors, and garden centers use to keep visitors from tripping on dragged hoses. Available in singles, case quantities, and pallet quantities for distributors, retailers, and large commercial growers — construction is identical across all pack types.
