Grodan Improved Gro-Blocks utilize advanced hydrophilic technology and optimal density to improve water distribution and promote healthy root development. Available as loose blocks or in strip format, these blocks feature a groove pattern on the bottom for compatibility with various cultivation systems, enhancing their versatility. Each block includes a single plug hole, facilitating efficient transplanting of fully rooted Grodan A-OK or Grodan Macro plugs. Made from stone wool derived from basalt rock, these blocks are lightweight, absorbent, and structurally sound, making them ideal for automated seeding and transplanting processes. The unique hydrophilic fibers ensure rapid, even water distribution and offer excellent buffer and re-saturation capabilities, while the blocks' homogenous structure guarantees uniform nutrient availability, promoting consistent plant growth. Stone wool also ensures that no water or nutrients are wasted, and that the material is free from pathogens or unwanted seeds, supporting healthy and productive plant cultivation.
