Floramite SC Miticide

Floramite SC is a selective ornamental miticide containing 22.6% bifenazate (2 lb active ingredient per gallon), an IRAC Group 20D acaricide. It controls spider mites, red mites and grass mites, including twospotted spider mite, Pacific, strawberry, European red, citrus red, clover, southern red, spruce spider, bamboo spider and Lewis mites. Floramite SC provides knockdown through contact activity plus residual control for up to 28 days; it is primarily active on motile stages and also has ovicidal activity against Tetranychus spider mites. It is not effective against rust mites, broad mites or flat mites.

The label covers all ornamental plants (bedding, flowering and foliage plants, bulbs, perennials, trees and shrubs), non-bearing fruit trees and greenhouse tomatoes, grown in greenhouses, shadehouses, nurseries, landscapes and interiorscapes. Mix 4 to 8 fl oz per 100 gallons of water (1/4 to 1/2 tsp per gallon) and apply as a full-coverage foliar spray as soon as mites appear, using 4 fl oz for preventive or light infestations. Because Floramite is not systemic, cover both upper and lower leaf surfaces. Keep the spray mix between pH 5.5 and 6.5, make no more than two applications per crop per year, and do not apply through irrigation systems or by air.
