The External Fittings are the threaded connections that take the site pipework on a DAB EsyTwin docking station. DAB's EsyTwin Dock instructions list FCT EXTERNAL FITTING as item 8 in the 18-item parts table, quantity 2. DAB's EsyTwin Dock product page states that the 1-1/4 in NPT suction and discharge connection can be made at either side of the dock or on the same side, which is the connection these fittings serve.

On the exploded drawing item 8 is a large threaded fitting drawn with item 9, THREAD GUARD PLUG D.1 1/4, which caps the 1-1/4 thread, and with item 12, the CONNECTION CUP FITTING FCT. Those parts form the cluster at the ends of the dock body where water enters and leaves, as opposed to the FCT cover and internal fittings that the EsyBox units seat onto.

Before You Order

• DAB does not publish an SP-coded spare parts list for the EsyTwin. The EsyTwin Dock instructions carry an 18-item parts table with generic index numbers only, so the link between SP00001235 and item 8 is our reading of DAB's own part description against that table, not a mapping DAB published.
• Confirm the part against the exploded drawing on page 2 and the parts table on page 3 of the EsyTwin Dock instructions, or with DAB or your DAB dealer, before ordering.
• DAB sells the EsyTwin two ways: a bare dock, listed under the page heading ESYTWIN DOCK, and a complete EsyTwin booster set that pairs one EsyTwin dock with two EsyBox units. This is a part of the dock itself, which is the same item in both.
• This is for the EsyTwin dock that carries two EsyBox units. It is not the EsyTwin Mini dock, which is a separate product for the EsyBox Mini 3.
• The parts table names item 8 without a thread size or thread standard, though item 9 in the same table is a thread guard plug for a 1-1/4 thread. The 1-1/4 in NPT designation comes from DAB's own spare-part description. DAB lists the EsyTwin in NPT and non-NPT forms, so confirm the thread standard on your dock.
• DAB's table gives the dock a quantity of 2 for this item.
• DAB's dock instructions do not say what FCT stands for. DAB uses it throughout the parts table as the label for the dock's connection group, covering the FCT manifold, cover, retainer device and the internal and external fittings.
