The B-500 series is Chikamasa's core garden scissor platform. Every model shares the same lightweight body and ultra-sharp Japanese blades; they differ in blade steel, blade geometry and coating. Straight blades suit general trimming, slanted blades sit flatter against foliage for close cuts, and curved blades reach into dense growth. Models with a fluorine coating resist sap and residue buildup, which matters in resinous crops where uncoated blades gum up.
