Hortus IBA Water Soluble Salts 20%

Hortus IBA Water Soluble Salts is a professional rooting hormone for propagating plants from cuttings. It contains 20% IBA as water-soluble salts (K-IBA), so it dissolves in ordinary water with no alcohol required. Weigh the product, dissolve it in water, and apply.

It is EPA registered for spray, drip-down and over-the-top application in greenhouses and nurseries, so cuttings can be treated in propagation without dipping each one by hand. It can also be applied by basal quick dip, total immersion or basal long soak. Foliar rates are much lower than basal dip rates; for example, a 1,000 ppm basal dip may need only 200 ppm as a foliar spray. Concentrates up to 100,000 ppm can be made for tank mixing.
