GrowoniX Carbon Tank (12X40 GAC) for CX12000

The GrowoniX BW-i12M-2162-C1A is a backwashing carbon filter tank filled with 12X40 granular activated carbon (GAC), with a design service flow rate of 6-18/24 GPM. It is the higher-flow counterpart to the BW-i10M-1252-C1A carbon tank (2-16 GPM).

It is the carbon pre-treatment stage for the GrowoniX CX12000 commercial RO system, which needs chlorine held below 0.1 ppm at its membranes. Automatic backwashing keeps the carbon bed clean, and the pre-treatment lockout ties the tank to the RO system it protects.
