RootShield PLUS Granules

RootShield PLUS Granules pairs Trichoderma harzianum strain T-22 with Trichoderma virens strain G-41 to broaden both the pathogen range and the temperature range over which the biological remains active. The addition of G-41 extends control to Phytophthora, which the single-strain formulation does not cover. It is OMRI Listed and registered under EPA Reg. No. 68539-10.

Like the standard formulation, it is incorporated into growing media prior to planting and establishes on the root system as it develops. The two-strain approach is typically chosen where Phytophthora pressure is a known risk or where media and root-zone temperatures vary widely across a production cycle.
