Staal Plast - Polystyrene Glue, 300 ml

Staal & Plast Polystyrene Glue is used for bonding and sealing polystyrene grow tray sections during bench and tray assembly. It is commonly used with multi-piece tray systems where tray sections need to be joined together at the seams.

This adhesive is designed for compatible polystyrene tray systems and is typically applied during installation to help create a secure, sealed connection between tray sections.

Coverage Estimate

Coverage will vary based on tray width, seam length, bead size, installer technique, and how much adhesive is applied at each joint. As a general planning reference, one 300 mL tube covers approximately 19 linear feet of tray seams.

How to Estimate Bottles

Use this formula:

Benches x seams per bench x seam length = total linear feet

Then divide total linear feet by 19 to estimate the number of bottles required.

Example: A project with 12 benches, 2 seams per bench, and 5 ft seams would calculate as:

12 x 2 x 5 ft = 120 linear feet
120 / 19 = 6.32 bottles

Since this product is sold in cases of 8 bottles, this example project would require 1 case.
