Dimlux - Maxi Controller

Brand: Dimlux

Dimlux Maxi Controller

The Dimlux Maxi Controller is a modular control system for running and monitoring Dimlux lighting from a single point. It controls up to 160 Dimlux Expert Series fixtures or Xtreme ballasts with a built-in timer, so fixtures plug straight into the wall without a contactor panel, relays or separate timers.

Beyond scheduling, it dims the lights to room temperature, simulates sunrise and sunset, and switches half or all fixtures off if the room keeps heating up. Add the optional temperature, humidity, CO2 and plant temperature sensors plus an Aux Box or Fan & Aux Box, and it also manages CO2 dosing, VPD, fan speed, heating and humidity.

Available Options

• Maxi Controller with 5 m Interlink cable included
• 10 m Interlink cable sold separately
• Optional sensors sold separately: temperature, relative humidity, dual-beam CO2, Gas Protect CO2 and infrared plant temperature camera
• Optional Aux Box or Fan & Aux Box for heating, humidity and fan control

Key Features

• Controls up to 160 Dimlux fixtures or ballasts over two Interlink (RJ45) ports, up to 80 per port
• 7 dim levels plus continuous variable dimming with the + and - keys; output shown in watts or percent
• Timer modes: permanently on, permanently off, timer, countdown for uneven cycles such as 10 hours on and 10 hours off, slave copy and slave invert
• Sunrise and sunset simulation with adjustable rise and fall time
• Three-stage temperature protection: dims the lights, switches off half the fixtures, then switches all fixtures off
• Half-force mode runs half the lamps in a checkerboard pattern that rotates every 6 hours
• No inrush current on Dimlux fixtures run from the controller
• Plant temperature protection dims the lights and pauses CO2 dosing when leaf temperature rises above room temperature
• VPD display combining room temperature, relative humidity and plant temperature
• Self-learning CO2 dosing with automatic calibration to outdoor 400 ppm
• High and low records with time stamps, plus an event log
• Links to a second controller through the ABP port; dual-room mode with a second temperature sensor
• Backlit LCD, Celsius or Fahrenheit, runs on a 16V power adapter

Ideal Applications

• Commercial indoor cultivation rooms running Dimlux Expert Series fixtures or Xtreme ballasts
• Controlled-environment agriculture facilities that want centralized lighting and climate control
• Rooms with CO2 enrichment and VPD-based climate management
• New builds or retrofits replacing contactor panels, relays and timers
