MICROBE-LIFT Nite-Out II is a liquid bacterial supplement containing select strains of nitrifying cultures formulated to eliminate ammonia through the natural process of nitrification.

How it works: The bacteria oxidize ammonia to nitrite, then convert nitrite to nitrate — a far less toxic compound. These autotrophic microorganisms have typical cell division rates of 8 to 16 hours and require specific environmental conditions for optimal performance.
