OHP - Hormodin 3 Rooting Hormone - 8 oz
Brand: OHP
Hormodin 3 Rooting Hormone
Hormodin 3 is the strongest of the three Hormodin rooting powders, containing 0.8% indole-3-butyric acid (IBA), a synthetic auxin that induces root formation on cuttings. It is prepared specially for propagating more difficult-to-root varieties, including many evergreens and dormant leafless cuttings. Hormodin 3 is labeled for ornamentals grown in commercial or research greenhouses, shadehouses and nurseries.
Moisten the basal ends of cuttings if not already moist (except geraniums), stir them in a small amount of Hormodin poured into a separate dish, tap off the excess powder and stick the cuttings in rooting medium. Check the plant list on the label to select the correct strength, since cuttings that respond well to Hormodin 1 may be injured by Hormodin 3. Do not fertilize for one week after treatment.
