The Beta-1 is a simple Day / Night temperature solution for mini-split air conditioners. It learns the signals from the mini-split remote control, then automatically switches the unit between separate Day and Night temperature setpoints using a small IR emitter. Just about any brand of mini-split can be controlled.

The teach and learn process takes about 5 minutes, and a built-in photocell determines Day and Night. Mount the Beta-1 where the photocell receives light and position the IR emitter with line of sight to the indoor air handler. The temperature sensor monitors the room and re-sends the signal if the temperature is not changing, and the unit can be set to cool only, heat only, or both. Not compatible with Daikin, Mr. Cool, Innovair, Cooper and Hunter devices.
