Grodan® Gro-Wool™ is a versatile, high-retention stonewool growing media ideal for both commercial facilities and home growers utilizing container systems. It can be used as a stand-alone loose-fill substrate or blended with other media such as coconut fiber, Grodan® Grow-Chunks™, Grow-Cubes™, expanded clay, or lava rock to optimize aeration and moisture retention. With exceptional water-holding capacity, Gro-Wool™ efficiently releases moisture to plant roots even when partially dry, acting as an effective buffer against fluctuations in hydration. Its structure promotes the development of fine root hairs, enhancing nutrient uptake and supporting vigorous plant growth. Grodan® Gro-Wool™ is suitable for use on its own, mixed with high-porosity substrates, or as a soil amendment to improve water retention in sandy soils.
