5% Pro-Oxine Horticulture

PRO-OXINE® Horticulture is an EPA-registered chemistry utilized in Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) facilities growing produce as a broad-spectrum antimicrobial disinfectant, sanitizer, fungicide, algaecide and deodorizer.

PRO-OXINE® Horticulture is generated in Norman, OK, and simply requires activation with a mild acid on site at the CEA facility, which promptly and accurately activates its unique chemical properties. Once activated, PRO-OXINE® Horticulture allows cultivators to adjust the activation level based on pathogen load or use, enabling it to be injected continuously—24/7/365—into irrigation water, ensuring a healthy root zone, clean lines and emitters. The same chemistry can also be manipulated for use on hard, non-porous surfaces (floors, walls, ceilings, tools...other) at a higher ppm range too, benefited by very low corrosion potential. This adaptability offers cultivators a highly efficient and effective solution that emphasizes prevention while also being potent for remediation, as stated on the EPA Registered label. PRO-OXINE® Horticulture has demonstrated significant effectiveness in the CEA market, thanks to this advanced formulation designed for pathogen prevention and elimination in CEA.

PRO-OXINE® Horticulture is highly effective controlling HLVd, Fusarium, Pythium, Erwinia, Colletotrichum, Rhizoctonia, Cylindrocladium, Phytophthora, Ralstonia, Thielaviopsis, Alternaria, Botrytis and many more.

Proprietary OXINE® Test Kits are used to check the “concentration of available chlorine dioxide” in water treated with OXINE® Horticulture and PRO-OXINE® Horticulture.  NOTE: **Standard or commodity CLO2 Test Kits will NOT provide accurate readings when checking water treated with OXINE® Horticulture and PRO-OXINE® Horticulture.
