Pure Zym

Pure Zym is an enzyme-based soil improver from Plagron that accelerates the breakdown of dead plant material in the root zone. That breakdown releases extra nutrients which feed soil life, and it increases the soil's oxygen-absorbing capacity. The current formulation carries a wider variety of enzymes than the previous version, making the breakdown faster and more complete.

It is run at every irrigation for the whole cultivation period rather than at a single stage, which keeps the root zone clearing itself as older root material dies back. It suits all substrates, but being of organic origin it is not suitable for NFT, DWC or aeroponic systems.
