Cocos A is the A-component of Plagron's highly concentrated two-part mineral base nutrient, developed specifically for all types of buffered coconut substrate and used through both the vegetative and flowering phases. Plagron splits the formula deliberately: Cocos A carries the calcium while Cocos B carries the phosphorus. Kept together in concentrate the two would bind and precipitate out of solution, leaving both unavailable to the plant.

Coco is an inert substrate holding no nutrition of its own, so the formula supplies directly absorbable mineral nutrition from the first irrigation. The nutrients stay absorbable across a wide pH band, which buffers the plant when root-zone pH drifts off optimum between corrections.
