Weed Zap is an all-natural, non-selective, broad-spectrum contact herbicide built on a 45 percent clove oil and 45 percent cinnamon oil blend. It controls actively growing emerged green vegetation, both annual and perennial broadleaf and grassy weeds, by burning down the weed cell structure. It does not translocate and affects only plants coated with the spray solution. It is exempt from federal EPA registration under FIFRA 25(b) and is OMRI Listed.

Weed Zap is a foliar-applied contact herbicide. Add 5 gallons of concentrate to 100 gallons of spray water for a 5 percent solution, or 6.4 fl oz per gallon and 160 fl oz per 25 gallons of final mix. Put water into the spray tank first, then add Weed Zap, and use constant brisk agitation. Spray to the point of runoff. It is most effective on herbaceous weeds six inches or less in height and works best in non-shaded open areas.

Handling Note

Do not apply through irrigation systems or over the top of crops. Off-target application will damage growing plants. Weed Zap can soften polystyrene plastics.

State Registration

Weed Zap is a minimum-risk pesticide exempt from federal EPA registration under FIFRA Section 25(b). This federal exemption does not remove state requirements, and many states still require registration or notification before a 25(b) product may be sold there.
