Mixwell is a multipurpose spray tank and irrigation water additive designed for soil and water applications where the pH needs to be lowered into a more acidic range. It is an organic based material ideal for conditioning alkaline soils and water. As a complexing agent it lowers the pH of mixing water and chelates calcium, iron, zinc, and other minerals to prevent precipitates from forming in tanks and lines.

For agricultural soil conditioning add 1 to 2 pints per 100 gallons of irrigation water, monitor soil pH, and repeat monthly. For high pH soils begin with 1 to 2 gallons per acre followed by 1 gallon per acre until the desired pH is reached. For turf use 3 to 6 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft in at least 10 gallons of water monthly. As a tank mix buffer add Mixwell before pesticides at 1 to 2 pints per 100 gallons and check with a pH meter.

State Registration

Mixwell is a spray adjuvant and acidifier, exempt from EPA pesticide registration under FIFRA Section 25(b). It is not sold as a pesticide and no pest control claims are made for it. Fertilizing materials and adjuvants must be registered in most states before they may be distributed there.
