Humax is a concentrated liquid humic acid extracted from high-quality leonardite and guaranteed at 12 percent humic acids. It consists of complex macro-molecules capable of chelating metal nutrients, which increases nutrient availability and uptake. Humax addresses humus deficiencies common in sandy or drought-prone soils by increasing the soil capacity to retain nutrients and water.

Humax can be used as a soil or foliar application and is compatible with most fertilizer solutions and with biological and enzymatic formulations. Soil application is 1.0 to 2.0 quarts in 30 gallons of water or liquid fertilizer per acre; foliar application is 0.5 to 1.0 quart with foliar fertilizer in at least 6 gallons of water per acre. It can be delivered through sprinkler or drip irrigation, used as a root-dipping solution at transplanting, or run in hydroponics at 150 ppm.
