The HUB Connection Cable is the standard 3 meter run between a LINK device and the Growlink LINKS 8-Port Device HUB. It carries both data and device power over a single cable, so most LINK devices need no separate power drop at the device end - the HUB supplies up to 1 A through the connection.

Plug from any of the eight RJ-45 device output ports on the HUB into the LINK device HUB connection port. Growlink specifies standard 8-conductor RJ-45 straight-through wiring with no crossover, T568B pattern recommended. Power down before connecting or disconnecting. In humid rooms Growlink instructs applying a thin coat of dielectric grease to the RJ-45 plug contacts before insertion to prevent corrosion.
