Dramm - Preset Inline Pressure Regulator
Brand: Dramm
Preset Inline Pressure Regulator
These are preset regulators: the outlet pressure is fixed in manufacture, there is no adjusting screw, and nothing on them can drift out of calibration or be turned by mistake. Each one holds its rated outlet pressure as long as the inlet stays at least 5 psi above that setting. This page carries three different flow classes and three body sizes, so the part number has to be matched to the zone, not just to the pipe.
Choose in two steps. First the pressure: the setting is fixed, so pick the psi your emitters or sprinklers want to see - 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 psi are offered here, and if you want the freedom to change that later you want an adjustable regulator instead. Then the flow class, because a regulator held below its minimum flow will not regulate: Low Flow covers 0.5 to 7 gpm on the 10, 15, 20 and 30 psi bodies, Medium Flow covers 2 to 20 gpm, and High Flow covers 10 to 32 gpm. Size follows from the class - 3/4 in NPT for low and medium flow, 1 in NPT for medium flow, and a 1.25 in inlet by 1 in outlet reducing body for high flow, which regulates and steps the line size down in one fitting.

Key Features
- Factory-set outlet pressure - nothing to adjust and nothing for an operator to move
- Holds the set pressure whenever inlet pressure is at least 5 psi above it
- Three flow classes so the regulator can be sized to the zone rather than the pipe
- The high-flow body reduces 1.25 in to 1 in and regulates in the same fitting
- Low-flow bodies have no external metal parts to corrode in a wet head house
Ideal Applications
- Fixing lateral pressure on non-compensating drip tape and dribble tubes
- Protecting drip laterals from mains pressure surges
- Setting a known inlet pressure ahead of a pressure-compensated emitter zone
- Zoning greenhouse benches or nursery blocks where elevation or friction loss varies
Fit a screen filter upstream of any regulator, and use the Dramm gauge test kit to confirm the regulated pressure at the far end of the run; if the set point needs to change with the season, see the adjustable 3/4 in regulator instead.
