PolyLoc Tee Fitting
A PolyLoc tee branches a polyethylene irrigation lateral. Each PolyLoc leg is a compression port that closes onto the tubing itself, and the centre leg is either a third PolyLoc port or a pipe thread for tapping into a PVC header, valve manifold or valve station. Run legs are 16mm on the 16mm options and 25mm on the 25mm options. Bought by greenhouse and nursery growers plumbing overhead, mist and bench laterals in Dramm 16mm and 25mm PE tubing.
Two choices. First the run size: the 16mm options splice into 16mm PE lateral, the 25mm options into 25mm PE. Then the centre leg. Female Thread (FPT) puts a female pipe thread on the branch and is offered as 16mm run with a 3/4 in or 1 in branch, and 25mm run with a 3/4 in or 1 in branch. Male Thread (MPT) is offered in one build, a 25mm run with a 1 in male branch, for screwing into a female port rather than onto a male one. PolyLoc Compression keeps all three legs on tubing: 25mm x 16mm x 25mm reduces to a 16mm sub-lateral at the tee, 25mm x 25mm x 25mm stays full bore. Option sizes read in flow order, inlet x branch x outlet.
