Dramm - PCAS 2 LPH Drip Assembly with Leader Tube
Brand: Dramm
PCAS 2 LPH Drip Assembly with Leader Tube
A factory-built dropper: a 2 lph pressure-compensated emitter already fitted to a cut length of 0.191 in leader tube and finished with a slim weight for the pot. One assembly waters one pot or basket, and it arrives ready to push into the lateral - no cutting, no barbing, no shop labour. The emitter holds 2 lph (1/2 gph) anywhere from 15 to 50 psi at the dripper.
Length is the only variable, and it is set by the vertical drop from the lateral to the growing medium plus enough slack for the weight to sit properly in the pot. 18 and 24 in suit benches and low hanging positions; 36, 42 and 48 in suit high hanging baskets. Every length carries the same 2 lph emitter and the same 11 gram weight, and the price moves only a few cents per step, so buying long and coiling the slack is a poorer answer than ordering the length you need. Keep at least 25 psi at the manifold so the last assembly on the line is still inside the compensating window.
Specifications
| Emitter | 2 lph (1/2 gph) pressure compensated - the same emitter on every length |
| Operating pressure | 15 to 50 psi at the dripper |
| Recommended manifold pressure | At least 25 psi so the last dripper still sees the minimum after line loss |
| Leader tube | 0.191 in OD micro tubing, cut to 18, 24, 36, 42 or 48 in by option |
| Pot end | 11 gram slim weight in zinc-aluminium alloy, not lead |
| Anti-clog design | Oversized emitter body with a wider labyrinth so debris passes |

Key Features
- Arrives assembled, so a basket line goes in at the speed of pushing droppers into the lateral
- Pressure compensated from 15 to 50 psi, which is what makes a long basket run even
- Five drop lengths cover bench height through high hanging positions
- Zinc-aluminium slim weight rather than lead, and it slips out of the pot at harvest instead of catching in expanded metal benching
- Same emitter and weight across every length, so a house can mix lengths without mixing flows
Ideal Applications
- Hanging basket production lines
- Single pot-to-plant drip on benches
- Retrofitting a fixed number of even-flow droppers to an existing lateral
- Crops where a compensating window is needed because of elevation change
Feed these from a filtered, regulated lateral, add a micro valve where individual baskets need shutting off, and use the gauge test kit to confirm end-of-run pressure.
