Dramm - Nozzle Replacement Pins and Plug
Brand: Dramm
Nozzle Replacement Pins and Plug
Service parts for Dramm's overhead nozzle lines: the pin that drops into a Pin-Perfect nozzle body, and the plug that blanks off a nozzle position you no longer want. The pin is the moving part of a Pin-Perfect - the thing you push down to shut a nozzle off - so it is the part that gets lost or worn. The plug lets you retire a nozzle or cap an over-drilled hole without cutting and replacing pipe.
Two different jobs here, so read the option before ordering. For a replacement pin, order the same colour as the pin you are taking out. The colour is an identification code, not a flow code: Dramm states that all pins are the same diameter and do not affect flow, because the flow rate is set by the orifice in the black nozzle body. Putting the matching colour back is what keeps the run's colour code readable when someone comes to trim it later. Note that Dramm sells the pin as a single colour-agnostic item with the two letter colour specified when ordering - the colour entries here are call-outs against one part, not five separately tooled ones. Note also that no replacement pin is offered in Black or Orange, although Pin-Perfect nozzles are made in both. The 180 Degree pin is a different thing again: it is black, it replaces any colour pin, and it converts a Pin-Perfect from a full circle to a half circle for a bench edge, a wall run or an aisle, without changing the nozzle and without changing the flow. The Line Plug is not a pin at all - it screws in where a nozzle was and blanks the port on a Pin-Perfect, Nifty or Misty Mist line.

Key Features
- Pin colour is an identification code, so replacing like for like keeps a run's colour coding readable
- All pins share one diameter and do not alter flow, so a service repair cannot accidentally change a line's hydraulics
- The 180 Degree pin changes the pattern without changing the nozzle, the port or the flow rate
- The plug retires a nozzle position or caps an over-drilled hole without replacing a length of pipe
- Sold individually, so a few of each can live on the service cart
Ideal Applications
- Replacing worn or lost Pin-Perfect pins like for like
- Converting bench-edge, wall and aisle nozzles to a half circle pattern
- Capping holes drilled in the wrong place
- Retiring nozzle positions after a bench or bay layout change
- Keeping a spares kit for an installed overhead system
These serve Dramm's Pin-Perfect, 360 Nifty and 360 Misty Mist nozzles, all of which share the same port thread and assembly inserts.
