Dramm - MistTime Misting Controller
Brand: Dramm
MistTime Misting Controller
MistTime is a 10 output mist and pulse irrigation controller in a NEMA 4 rated PVC housing. Every output is programmed independently on its own duration and interval, so one unit can run a propagation mist bench, a pulse irrigation zone and a mist cooling circuit at the same time. Duration goes from 1 second to 60 minutes and interval from 1 minute to 12 hours, which is the whole range from a two second mist shot to an hourly irrigation.
This is the 10 output model, so the sizing question is how many circuits you actually have and whether you need the pump pre-start. The last output can be converted to a pump pre-start with a variable lead time, so a well, pressure or injector pump is already running before any valve opens - use that and you have 9 valve circuits rather than 10. It is worth choosing MistTime over Dramm's other controllers specifically for the second-scale timing: the Villa controller has a 1 minute minimum cycle and will not do mist, and the ii ri drives a single valve. Outputs are 24 VAC, which is what the Dramm Pro-Series solenoid valves expect, with a maximum output load of 6 A.

Key Features
- Ten independent cycles on one unit - mist, pulse irrigation and mist cooling side by side
- One second minimum duration, which is what separates a mist controller from an irrigation controller
- Four modes: around the clock, between set hours, above a set temperature, or time and temperature together
- Mist curve builds up to six time buckets so the cycle changes through the day
- Manual cycle can be run at any time and the controller returns to the last program straight after
- Pump pre-start output brings a well or injector pump up before a valve opens
- NEMA 4 rated PVC housing for a wet head house
Ideal Applications
- Propagation mist benches where duration is measured in seconds
- Pulse irrigation of container crops in short repeated shots
- Temperature-triggered mist cooling
- Multi-zone mist houses needing a different cycle per bench
Drives Dramm Pro-Series 24 VAC solenoid valves, takes the MT10-TP temperature sensor for temperature-triggered cycles, and Dramm publishes the manual in English, Spanish and French.
