Dramm - JetRain Replacement Deflector Pin
Brand: Dramm
JetRain Replacement Deflector Pin
The deflector pin from a pin-style JetRain nozzle: the small part the water jet strikes to form the spray pattern. Dramm states that pins are specific to each nozzle and asks for the color to be specified when ordering, so a pin is bought to match the nozzle it is going into. It is the first part Dramm's JetRain troubleshooting guide sends you to when a nozzle mists only partially, or drips while it is misting.
Order the pin that matches the nozzle color already on the line, because the pin belongs to that nozzle: White for 0.48 gpm White nozzles, Blue for 0.48 gpm Blue nozzles, Red for 0.79 gpm Red nozzles and Yellow for 1.37 gpm Yellow nozzles, all measured by Dramm at 40 psi. These four are the 360 degree JetRain colors. Work Dramm's troubleshooting order rather than replacing pins on sight: partial misting can simply be low pressure or low volume, so check those first, then inspect the pin for damage and clean it, and replace it only if it is actually defective. A nozzle that drips while it is misting points at the pin. A nozzle that drips when the system is off points at the check valve instead, not at this part.

Key Features
- Restores the spray pattern on a nozzle that mists partially or drips while running
- Color-matched to the nozzle so the flow rate of that position is unchanged
- Replaces the one wearing part inside the cone without disturbing the check valve or the tubing
- Cheap enough to hold a full color set as shop spares
Ideal Applications
- Fixing nozzles that only partially mist once pressure has been ruled out
- Fixing nozzles that drip while misting
- Pre-season service of propagation mist lines
- Maintenance spares for PolyRail and PE tubing irrigation runs
If the cone itself is damaged rather than the pin, the JetRain 360 degree press-fit cone is sold separately in the same four colors, and the Clean Out Check Valve covers the dripping-when-off case.
