JetRain Press-Fit Fittings and On/Off Valve
Four small press-fit pieces from the JetRain range, gathered on one page. A JetRain nozzle is built as a stack - inlet, check valve, optional valve, nozzle cone - and these are the parts that join, extend or adapt that stack. They are low-cost plumbing items, normally bought alongside nozzles or held as shop stock rather than specified on their own. None of them is a nozzle or a check valve by itself.
Pick by the job in front of you. The On/Off Valve - Press-Fit goes into the assembly between the check valve and the nozzle cone, so one nozzle can be turned off without isolating the rest of the line; it is what you want over a bench section that has been emptied. The Barb x Male Slip Connector puts a barbed tail on a press-fit stack, for joining to PE tubing or a leader tube. The Male Slip x Male Slip Connector joins two press-fit sockets to each other, which is how a stack gets extended or a valve gets dropped into the middle of one. The 3/8 inch Whitworth Thread x Female Slip Connector adapts the 3/8 inch Whitworth thread Dramm uses on its threaded nozzles to a press-fit socket, so threaded and press-fit parts can be mixed in the same assembly.

Key Features
- On/Off valve isolates a single nozzle without shutting down the run
- Press-fit throughout, so assemblies go together without glue or tools
- Barb and slip connectors let a nozzle stack be extended or rerouted to a leader tube
- Whitworth adapter bridges Dramm's threaded nozzle thread and the press-fit system
- Low enough in cost to hold a handful of each as install-crew stock
Ideal Applications
- Shutting off nozzles over an emptied bench section
- Building custom JetRain nozzle stacks
- Adapting threaded assemblies to press-fit components
- Joining nozzle assemblies to PE leader tube
- Install crew and maintenance shop stock
These build onto the JetRain Clean Out Check Valve and JetRain nozzle cones, both sold separately, and the 3/8 inch Whitworth thread they adapt is the same thread on Dramm's threaded JetFog nozzles.
