Irrigation Punch and Insertion Tool
The tools that open the hole a barbed nozzle or emitter pushes into, plus the multi-tool that cuts, punches and inserts. Every punch here cuts 3mm, because 3mm is the barb size on Dramm's JetFog and JetRain nozzles and on the MAN barb adaptors and manifolds. Two are shaped to ride on the PolyRail extrusion; the rest are used free-hand.
Choose by how you are working and on what. The two PolyRail punches are rail-specific: one for 16mm rail, one for 25mm, and each slides on that rail profile so the hole lands on the tubing centreline - Dramm calls them a punch for centering a 3mm hole in PE. The hand punches are chosen by tubing instead: one covers 16mm and 1/2 in PE, the other covers 25mm and 32mm. The mini punch pairs a 3mm punch with an insertion tool for touch-up work. The MultiTool is the field tool - Dramm: 'Cuts PE, punches holes with 3,4,5 mm blades. Inserts barbed components into PE.' The replacement blade is the wear part, ordered when a hand punch blade dulls rather than replacing the tool.

Key Features
- One hole size, 3mm, across the whole group
- Rail-guided punches keep every hole on the tubing centreline so nozzles aim alike down a bay
- Hand punches cover 1/2 in, 16mm, 25mm and 32mm PE for work off the rail
- The MultiTool cuts, punches at three sizes and seats barbed emitters in one tool
- A replacement blade is stocked, so a dull punch does not mean a new tool
- A mis-punched hole can be closed with a goof plug, or cut out and a barb repair coupling fitted before re-punching
Ideal Applications
- Punching nozzle holes down a PolyRail run at a set spacing, guided by the rail
- Punching emitter holes in 16mm, 1/2 in, 25mm or 32mm PE laterals off the rail
- Cutting PE and inserting barbed emitters and fittings in the field with one tool
- Re-punching after a leaking nozzle hole has been repaired
These punch the tubing that PolyRail carries and that EasyLoc and PolyLoc fittings terminate; the two rail-guided punches are matched to the rail size, not to the fitting family, and none of it relates to PipeLoc, Dramm's separate line for large PVC pipe.
