Hanging Basket Remover

The Hanging Basket Remover is a steel hoop on an aluminum rod: push the ring up under the basket, lift the hanger clear of the support wire, and bring the basket down without a ladder. The complete tool comes with a 10 in ring on a 36 in rod. Rings and rods are also sold on their own, so a crew can match ring diameter to pot size and rod length to the height of the basket line, or replace one half of a tool that has been bent.

A Remover Ring on its own comes in 8 in, 10 in or 12 in diameter; the ring has to clear the pot rim, so size it against the container the crop is finished in rather than against the plant. A Remover Rod on its own comes in 36 in (3 ft), 60 in (5 ft) or 84 in (7 ft) of aluminum, and the longer rods are what you order when the ring is fine but the basket line is higher or a row further in from the aisle. Rings and rods are priced each, so a 12 in ring on an 84 in rod is a legitimate build if that is what the house needs.
