Hanging Basket Handle

The Hanging Basket Handle is a Handi-Reach extension handle with a 90 degree curve at the top, so water leaves the nozzle pointing straight down into a basket or window box instead of sideways into the foliage. The tube is extruded aluminum with forged brass hose couplings at both ends and an EPDM comfort grip, made in the USA. Both ends carry 3/4 in hose thread, so the handle drops in between a shut off valve and any Dramm nozzle. Dramm specifies a 170 series Water Breaker on the end of it, because that narrow, low volume pattern is the one sized for small containers.

Length is the only thing that changes on this page, and it sets how high a person can reach without a step. The 36 in handle weighs 6.5 oz and suits benches and lower basket lines. The 48 in handle weighs 8.1 oz and reaches a standard overhead basket row from the aisle. The telescoping handle closes to 50 in for storage and extends to 80 in, so one tool covers a low bench and a high basket line and hangs on the cart in the space of a short wand; it is the heaviest of the three and the only one with a sliding joint to keep clean. All three ship as a factory case of 6.
