A rigid aluminum extension tube that sits between the hose or shut-off valve and a water breaker nozzle, so the person watering reaches the crop instead of stooping over a bench or stretching up to a basket. Both ends carry forged brass 3/4 in hose threads, male at one end and female at the other, so it drops into an existing hose, valve and nozzle stack with no adaptors. Dramm builds it in the USA from extruded aluminum tubing with an EPDM comfort grip. It is bought by greenhouse and nursery crews who hand water bench crops, plug trays and hanging baskets all day and want the nozzle held where the water needs to go.
Pick by the gap you are trying to close. The straight options at 16, 24, 30, 36, 48, 60 and 72 in are otherwise identical, with the same aluminum tube, the same brass couplings, the same grip and the same 3/4 in threads, so nozzle choice does not change with length. Two options are not simply longer. The 24 in - 90 Degree Hanging Basket Bend puts a 90 degree curve at the head so a water breaker points straight down into a basket rather than sideways at it, which is the only option on this page that changes the direction the nozzle faces. The Telescoping - 50 in to 80 in option closes to 50 in for storage and extends to 80 in in use, and it is the standard version; Dramm builds the telescoping hanging basket bend as a separate item. Published weight climbs with length, from 4.1 oz at 16 in to 8.1 oz at 48 in and 10 oz for the telescoping model, so on a long shift the shortest tube that does the job is the one to buy.
