Foam Compressor Filter

A replacement air-side filter element for the compressed air supply feeding a Dramm foaming machine. It is an air filter, not a water filter, and it is the element alone rather than a complete filter and regulator assembly. Its job is to keep water, oil and rust out of the air that drives the pump and reaches the foaming nozzle.

There is one part here, so the question is when to fit it rather than which to buy. Dramm's service routine is to check the air inlet filter for debris such as water, oil or rust particles and clean it by pressing up on the bottom of the filter; when cleaning stops restoring it, the element is due. One thing worth knowing while you have it apart: if foam solution has backed up into the air filter, the check valve needs replacing too, and a new element on its own will simply foul again.
