Buy by the case for a garden center rack or a seasonal endcap where color choice drives the pickup, and treat the count as fixed, because Dramm does not offer this timer as an each. On the plumbing side the swivel nut goes on the faucet and the male hose thread takes the hose, so the timer sits between the tap and the hose rather than out at the far end. Watch the pressure window: 30 to 80 psi, and Dramm does not rate it for low pressure use, so it is the wrong part on a gravity feed or a rain barrel outlet.
