Bags of twelve nickel plated machined brass hose fittings with their matching brass ferrules, for building and repairing lengths of Dramm ColorStorm rubber hose. The ferrule slides over the cut hose end, the barbed fitting is pushed in through it, and the ferrule is crimped in the DrammPress, producing the same joint Dramm puts on its factory assembled hose. Dramm's own note is that because the crimper uses its ferrules there is no need for ring bands or gear clamps. Greenhouses and nurseries buy these to make hose to the length a bay actually needs instead of ordering stock lengths.
There are two choices. Hose Size is the inside diameter of the hose the ferrule crimps onto, 5/8 in or 3/4 in, and it is not a thread size, so measure the hose bore rather than the coupling and fit the press jaws that match that bore. Fitting Type is what the end becomes: Male Coupling and Female Coupling each terminate one hose end, so re-ending a hose normally takes one bag of each, while Splice / Mender is a double-ended barb that joins two lengths or closes the gap where a damaged section has been cut out. Every bag holds 12 fittings with 12 matching ferrules whichever pair you choose.
