BlueFlex Spray Hose
BlueFlex is the spray hose Dramm developed to be more flexible and more durable than the black spray hose it replaced, and it now ships as standard on Dramm MSO, MS-Gas and Hydra spray equipment. Dramm rates it to 800 PSI working pressure while keeping it easy to coil on a reel and drag around benches. Because it expands far less under pressure, more of the pump's PSI arrives at the gun and the nozzles atomize the way they were sized to. Dramm designed it around its own sprayers but states it works well with other spray equipment too.
Size sets the bore and the finished length together, because BlueFlex is supplied as a complete drag hose rather than as raw hose. The 1/4 in bore is the MSO and MS-Gas size: 1/4 in x 33 ft for a single bay or a bench, 1/4 in x 100 ft for a normal cart run, and 1/4 in x 150 ft when the pump parks at one end of a long range. The 3/8 in bore is the Hydra size and carries more volume over distance, in 3/8 in x 200 ft, 3/8 in x 250 ft and 3/8 in x 300 ft drag lengths, plus 3/8 in x 500 ft supplied on a spool. Fittings is what sits on the ends. Standard Brass is the factory brass coupling supplied on the MSO hose and is the right choice for water and general spray work. Stainless (CRF) is the corrosion-resistant stainless build and is the one to specify when fertilizer, crop protection or sanitizing chemistry runs down the line. Unfitted Spool means no couplings at all: the 500 ft spool is bulk hose for a shop that terminates its own lengths or re-hoses a reel.
