BigFoot Pneumatic Wheel Kit for MS Cart

BigFoot is Dramm's retrofit wheel package for the MS 20 gallon cart. It swaps the cart's solid rubber wheels and solid rubber casters for 15 in pneumatic turf tires on a rear axle and pneumatic casters carried on bolt-on front outriggers. Fitting it takes the overall cart width from 21 in to 27 in and leaves the 37 in length and 42 in height alone, so aisle clearance is the only dimension that changes. The kit is parts only: the axle, both turf tires with their retaining clips, both outriggers, both casters and the mounting hardware, with no cart, tank, pump or hose.

There is one kit on this page and it is the retrofit, meant for an existing MS cart that was bought with the standard solid wheel package. Order it when the cart is already in service and the ground has turned out to be the problem: gravel yards, door thresholds, floor drains, expansion joints, hoop house dirt and turf all load a solid wheel far harder than a pneumatic one, and a full 20 gallon tank makes that difference obvious at the handle. The pneumatic wheels and casters are the same 15 in turf tire and outrigger caster package Dramm fits at the factory, so a retrofitted cart ends up matching a factory BigFoot machine rather than approximating it. Dramm lists the upgrade as working with the MSO and MS-GAS sprayers, ChemDose 120, FertiCart, WaterCart and the FM20 foamer; the kit on this page is the 20 gallon MS cart size. Installation is a bolt-on job in seven steps using Dramm's own BigFoot installation sheet: the axle slides into the welded shaft at the rear of the cart, the tires clip on, and the outriggers and casters bolt to the front with the supplied hardware.
