Dramm - Barb Adaptor and Manifold for Drip Emitters
Brand: Dramm
Barb Adaptor and Manifold for Drip Emitters
Small 3mm-barb splitters that fit the outlet of a pressure compensated drip emitter so one emitter can feed more than one pot. The single-outlet versions convert a barrel-outlet emitter to a 3mm barb for .192 in OD distribution tubing; the 2-way and 4-way versions divide the emitter's flow between outlets. Dramm specifies the manifolds for use with its 4 lph and 8 lph emitters.
The choice is how many 3mm barb outlets you need and which way they point. 1 Outlet is a straight barrel-to-barb adaptor - Dramm: 'Connect barrel outlet emitters to 192 tubing with this adaptor.' 1 Outlet - Side Outlet is the same single barb taken off at an angle, for installs where a straight leader tube would foul the pot or the bench edge. 2 Outlets and 4 Outlets split one emitter between that many leader tubes and therefore that many pots, which also divides the flow: a 4 or 8 lph emitter on a 2-way or 4-way gives a range of per-pot rates, so an 8 lph emitter on the 4-way works out near 2 lph a pot. The barb is 3mm on every option, so leader tubing does not change with the choice.
Specifications
| Outlets | 1, 2 or 4 per the option; the side-outlet version has a single barb taken off at an angle |
| Barb size | 3mm on every option |
| Leader tubing | Dramm .130 in ID x .192 in OD poly distribution tubing |
| Emitter compatibility | Dramm specifies the 2-way and 4-way manifolds for its 4 lph and 8 lph emitters |
| Flow effect | Splitting an emitter divides its output between the outlets, which is Dramm's own way of reaching intermediate per-pot rates |
| Emitters these fit | Dramm's pressure compensated emitters, colour coded by rate - 2 lph black, 4 lph green, 8 lph red, 12 lph black |
Configurations
| Outlets | Part number |

| 1 Outlet - Side Outlet | MAN1-SO |
| 2 Outlets | MAN2 |
| 4 Outlets | MAN4 |
Key Features
- Waters two or four pots from one emitter, cutting emitter count on grouped containers
- 3mm barb on every option, so one leader tube size covers the page
- The side-outlet version turns the leader tube away from the pot rim or bench edge
- The single adaptor converts a barrel-outlet emitter to .192 in OD distribution tubing
- Splitting a 4 or 8 lph emitter is Dramm's stated way of getting intermediate flow rates
Ideal Applications
- Watering two or four pots from a single pressure compensated emitter
- Container and hanging-basket drip where pots are grouped on a bench
- Converting a barrel-outlet emitter to accept .192 in OD distribution tubing
- Running the leader tube off to one side where a straight outlet would foul the pot or bench
These sit on the emitter outlet, downstream of the 16mm lateral that a 3mm punch opens; they are emitter accessories, not PolyLoc or EasyLoc fittings, and nothing here is part of PolyRail or PipeLoc.
