Dramm - Aquafol Filter Cloth
Brand: Dramm
Aquafol Filter Cloth
Aquafol is a white non-woven cloth laid over capillary matting. It keeps roots, algae and debris out of the mat underneath, reflects light back into the crop, and is thrown away and replaced after several uses so the mat keeps working. It is a bench and floor covering, not an inline water filter.
This is the 79 in wide cloth on a 200 ft roll, which is the long-run option for a house being covered bay by bay. Choose width against your bench or floor bay so the seams land in aisles rather than under pots; Dramm also publishes the same 79 in width on a shorter roll and a 48 in width for narrower benches. Mats last 6 to 10 years when kept clean, so the cloth is the consumable that protects the expensive layer - budget it as a repeat item, not a one-off.
