Dramm - 360 Degree Nifty Nozzle
Brand: Dramm
360 Degree Nifty Nozzle
The economical fixed nozzle in Dramm's 360 degree overhead range, for simple overhead lines and on-the-bench watering. It throws the same 10 ft pattern as the Pin-Perfect from a line 5 ft above the crop, and unlike the Pin-Perfect it can be hung under the pipe as well as mounted on top of it - which matters when the pipeline runs below a truss or there is no headroom above the line. Bought where a grower needs coverage and flow control by nozzle selection rather than per-nozzle hardware.
Colour is the orifice and the orifice is the flow rate. At 22 psi: Brown 1.75 mm gives 0.35 gpm, Green 2.00 mm 0.49 gpm, Grey 2.25 mm 0.62 gpm, Blue 2.50 mm 0.77 gpm, Red 2.75 mm 0.93 gpm and Orange 3.00 mm 1.10 gpm. The steps are a uniform 0.25 mm, and the ladder starts well below the Pin-Perfect's - 1.75 mm against 2.55 mm at the bottom - so this is the range to work in for lighter applications. Pattern does not change with colour; every one covers 10 ft from a line 5 ft up, so colour changes volume, not layout. Dramm makes one specific recommendation worth following: for on-the-bench watering of cut flower crops, use the three lowest flows - Brown, Green or Grey - spaced 3 ft apart on a single pipeline down the centre of each bench or bed.

Key Features
- Six orifices in a uniform 0.25 mm ladder from 1.75 to 3.00 mm
- Starts lower than the Pin-Perfect range, so it reaches lighter applications the larger nozzle cannot
- Mounts under the pipe as well as on top of it, for lines with no headroom above them
- Same 10 ft pattern for every colour, so flow changes without redesigning the grid
- 3/8 Whitworth thread and assembly inserts shared with the rest of Dramm's overhead range
- Dramm publishes a specific cut flower layout: the three lowest flows at 3 ft down the bench centre
Ideal Applications
- Simple overhead watering lines
- On-the-bench watering systems
- Cut flower crops on benches and ground beds
- Moveable benching, mounted on Dramm Stix
- Ground bed and container pad irrigation
For nozzles you can shut off one at a time from the aisle, the Pin-Perfect is the version with a pin; both install with the same Assembly Insert, drill tap and pipe nipples, and both can be blanked off with the nozzle plug.
