Dosatron - D20 MegaFlo Injector - 100 GPM (2 in) (HORT)
Brand: Dosatron
The Dosatron D20S is a water-powered proportional injector rated for 100 GPM on 2 in mains, part of the MegaFlo series. It runs on line pressure alone: water drives an internal motor, the motor drives a piston, and the piston draws concentrate in fixed proportion to the water passing through. Output tracks the set ratio through swings in supply pressure and flow, so there is no electricity, no metering pump, and no batch tank to manage.
With a 5 to 100 GPM working range, the D20S is a high-volume workhorse for fertigation, agriculture, animal health, and industrial water treatment. It can be plumbed inline or set up stand-alone on a leg kit, and units can be installed in parallel when a site outgrows a single injector.
Available Options
- 0.2-2% (1:500-1:50) 2 in - 100 GPM Viton (FKM) Seals - No Bypass [D20SVFII]
Specifications
- Flow range: 5 to 100 GPM
- Operating pressure: 2 to 145 psi
- Connection: 2 in NPT
- Dilution range: 1:500 to 1:50 (0.2 to 2%)

Key Features
- Water-powered proportional dosing, no electricity required
- Dosing accuracy holds through supply pressure and flow variation
- Externally adjustable injection rate, no tools needed
- Inline or stand-alone leg-kit installation
- Install units in parallel to scale beyond 100 GPM
- Field-serviceable; seal and rebuild kits available
HORT vs Hydro Versions
This listing covers the HORT (horticulture) build. Compared to the Hydro (HY) build of the same injector, the dose setting is marked in percentage and ratio rather than ml/gal, no union is included, and no bypass is fitted. If you need to flush clear water without pulling the unit, plumb an external bypass loop around it.
Seal Selection
After dilution range, seal material is the most important choice you make. The seal is the only part of the injector in constant contact with undiluted concentrate, and running the wrong elastomer is the single most common cause of early injector failure.
- Viton (FKM) - the general-purpose default. Suited to soluble fertilizers, micronutrients, pH-down acids, wetting agents, and most neutral to mildly acidic feeds.
- Aflas - for alkaline chemistry. Specify for pH-up, potassium hydroxide, liquid lime, carbonates, and hypochlorite sanitizers, which swell and harden Viton over time.
- Kalrez (FFKM) - the broadest chemical resistance available. Specify for peracetic acid (PAA), hydrogen peroxide blends, chlorine dioxide, and strong oxidizers such as ZeroTol and SaniDate, or where one unit has to run mixed chemistries.
If a single injector will see more than one chemistry, specify to the most aggressive of them. Replacement seal kits and full rebuild kits are stocked for every model listed here.
This unit ships with Viton (FKM) seals. For alkaline or peracetic-acid duty, contact us about Aflas or Kalrez seal kits for the D20S.
Service and Maintenance
These injectors are field-serviceable and designed to be rebuilt rather than replaced. Routine service is a seal kit; a full rebuild kit restores the motor and piston assembly. Install a strainer ahead of the unit and flush after dosing aggressive chemistry to get full service life.
Ideal Applications
- High-volume commercial fertigation
- Nursery and greenhouse irrigation mains
- Agriculture and animal health dosing
- Industrial water treatment and sanitation
