Dosatron - D14 LoFlo Injectors - 14 GPM (3/4 in) (HYDRO)
Brand: Dosatron
The Dosatron D14 LoFlo series is a water-powered proportional injector rated for 14 GPM on 3/4 in lines. Each unit runs on line pressure alone, drawing concentrate in fixed proportion to the water moving through it and holding that ratio through changes in supply pressure and flow. No electricity, no metering pump, no batch tanks.
The D14 is the workhorse of zone-level fertigation and the standard injector in most Dosatron nutrient delivery systems. It fits greenhouse benches, propagation houses, and indoor cultivation rooms, and is offered across four dilution ranges and three seal materials so the unit matches both your feed strength and the chemistry being dosed.

Hydro vs HORT Versions
This listing covers the Hydro (HY) build, set up for recirculating and injected nutrient programs. Compared to the HORT (horticulture) build of the same injector, the dose scale is marked in mL/gal alongside percentage and ratio, an integrated bypass is fitted as standard so you can switch nutrients on and off without shutting down flow, and a union is included so the unit can be installed in series as part of a nutrient delivery system.
Choosing Your Model
Models differ by dilution range and seal material. The dilution range - shown in mL/gal, percent, and ratio - sets how much concentrate is injected per gallon of water: pick the range your feed recipe sits in the middle of, not at the edge of, so you keep adjustment headroom in both directions. Seal material is matched to your chemistry, covered below.
Seal Selection
After dilution range, seal material is the most important choice you make. The seal is the only part of the injector in constant contact with undiluted concentrate, and running the wrong elastomer is the single most common cause of early injector failure.
- Viton (FKM) - the general-purpose default. Suited to soluble fertilizers, micronutrients, pH-down acids, wetting agents, and most neutral to mildly acidic feeds.
- Aflas - for alkaline chemistry. Specify for pH-up, potassium hydroxide, liquid lime, carbonates, and hypochlorite sanitizers, which swell and harden Viton over time.
- Kalrez (FFKM) - the broadest chemical resistance available. Specify for peracetic acid (PAA), hydrogen peroxide blends, chlorine dioxide, and strong oxidizers such as ZeroTol and SaniDate, or where one unit has to run mixed chemistries.
If a single injector will see more than one chemistry, specify to the most aggressive of them. Replacement seal kits and full rebuild kits are stocked for every model listed here.
Service and Maintenance
These injectors are field-serviceable and designed to be rebuilt rather than replaced. Routine service is a seal kit; a full rebuild kit restores the motor and piston assembly. Install a strainer ahead of the unit and flush after dosing aggressive chemistry to get full service life.
