The HYDROID is designed for municipal city water sources and is not recommended for very hard well water or source water above 500 ppm TDS unless the optional antiscalant kit is used. That makes it a strong fit for growers and commercial operators looking to lower incoming dissolved solids, improve nutrient dosing consistency, and start with cleaner source water for irrigation and fertigation.

One of the key advantages of the HYDROID is its ability to produce up to a 2:1 product-to-wastewater ratio, equal to roughly 66% recovery. The integrated blend valve allows operators to mix post-carbon treated water with RO water to customize final TDS levels while also helping improve system efficiency and recovery.

The system is built with commercial-duty components intended for continuous operation, including a stainless steel multi-stage centrifugal pump, liquid-filled pressure gauges, flow meters, and a microprocessor RO controller with auto-flush, dual TDS monitoring, pre-filter capacity monitoring, and both low-pressure and high-pressure switches. It also includes an onboard ultra-high-capacity sediment and carbon hybrid pre-filter rated for up to 75,000 gallons.
