Anden - A710 Dehumidifier
Brand: Anden
A710 Dehumidifier
The Anden A710 is the flagship of the line, built around patented Variable-Speed, Low Grain Refrigerant technology. Rather than cycling a single-speed compressor on and off, VLGR modulates the refrigeration system to match the room's actual moisture load, which keeps the unit dehumidifying through late flowering where dew point approaches freezing and conventional units stall in repeated defrost cycles. Anden states this extends run time four to five times over single-speed machines.
The commercial argument is amperage. At 710 pints per day the A710 still runs on a standard 30 amp breaker with 10-gauge copper, where competing units above 500 pints require a 50 amp circuit and roughly twice-as-expensive 6-gauge wire. That makes it a practical retrofit onto existing service. An onboard digital interface plus the included Model A77 remote handle monitoring and diagnostics.

Ideal Applications
- Late flowering where single-speed units lose capacity to defrost cycling
- Retrofits onto existing 30 A circuits, avoiding 50 A rewiring cost
- Tight vapor pressure deficit control to influence aromatic compound production and finished quality
- Suspended installs above the lights to save floor space
- Freestanding installs where suspension is not possible
- Inlet and outlet ducted installs from a separate mechanical room
