The top cover is the topmost external panel of the EsyBox Max. DAB's spare parts sheet lists it as (SP) ESYBOXMAX - TOP COVER at position 102, and the exploded drawing shows it lifting clear of the top face of the assembled machine, over the compartment beneath.

That compartment is the one DAB's manual works in repeatedly. Section 5.1 says to access the technical compartment and, with the aid of the accessory tool or a screwdriver, remove the filling cap, then fill the system with clean water through the loading door, taking care to let the air out, and to dry up any water residue in the technical compartment afterwards. Section 13.4 removes the lifting eyebolt inside the upper compartment to reach the motor shaft. Section 13.5 loosens the filling cap in the technical compartment so air can be drawn in while draining. DAB's troubleshooting table also sends you into the technical compartment to check the expansion vessel air pressure through its valve.

• The DAB EsyBox Max instruction manual for North America covers the EsyBox Max 60/120 M, 60/120 T and 85/120 T (manual section 1.5). That manual does not list the 45/120 M208-240 at all, and the spare parts sheet cited here is for the 45/120 M208-240. The two documents cover different model sets.
• DAB's spare parts sheet groups the top cover at position 102 with the driving tool at position 101 and the HMI assembly at position 103. Position 102 is a body panel and, unlike the electrical items in that group, carries no model or market suffix in DAB's description.
