The tank hull is the moulded casing section that encloses the expansion vessel on the EsyBox Max. DAB's spare parts sheet lists it as (SP) ESYBOXMAX - TANK HULL at position 116, in the same body-panel family as the side hulls (position 110), the back hull (position 111) and the top hull (position 112).

DAB's manual reaches this panel first in the expansion vessel replacement procedure. Section 13.5, step 3, says to remove the casing (vessel cover) simply by pulling it, as it is fixed by a double cylindrical snap-on coupling. The panel comes off before the retaining screw, the metal fork and the retaining collar that hold the vessel itself, so it is a handled item on any tank job. It is also the panel behind which the accessory tool is housed: manual section 13.1 states that the tool is housed behind the expansion vessel.
