DAB lists this part as TANK 100cc and gives it no further description on the spare parts sheet. The exploded view draws it as the cylindrical vessel that sits on top of the hydraulic manifold with its retaining clip and support bracket. DAB uses the word tank in the instruction manual as well, where the door closed by 2 screws on Face F is described as giving access to a special maintenance compartment for cleaning the non-return valve and resetting the tank preload pressure.

Position 23 on all four DAB lists, drawn between the pressure sensor at position 20 and the outlet body group at position 22. On the integrated expansion vessel the DAB manual states that the diaphragm is typically the component subject to wear for items of this type, and that in the case of breakage the entire expansion vessel must be replaced. DAB does not label the vessel with this item number in the manual, so match the part against the exploded view position before ordering.

Before You Order

• DAB prints this caution at the head of every EsyBox Mini 3 spare parts list: "Attention: check the correspondence with the revision of your product."
• DAB troubleshooting: where the water pressure is not immediate when a tap is opened, the causes given are an empty vessel with insufficient air pressure or a broken diaphragm. DAB says to check the air pressure, and that if water comes out when checking, the vessel is broken and the assistance service is needed. If no water comes out, DAB says to restore the air pressure rather than replace anything.
• DAB also lists air pressure higher than the system starting pressure as the cause of flow falling to zero before the pump starts, and calls for recalibration rather than replacement.
• How to check your own pump. DAB keeps the technical data plate inside the technical compartment. Open the door on Face A, which is the top face of the pump in the vertical installation, and read the plate: DAB shows it as item 2 in Figure 3 of the EsyBox Mini 3 instruction manual, alongside the quick guide, the filling cap, the accessory tool, the motor shaft and the QR code. If you cannot make out a revision, photograph the whole plate and send it with your order.
• DAB instruction manual, maintenance section: disconnect the power supply before starting any work on the system.
• For context, four positions on this pump do change between revisions: the HMI at position 8, the power cable at position 10, the main board at position 12 and the complete motor at position 18. DAB also adds a bug filter to the list from N.4 onward. This part is not one of them.
