Zeal Miticide

Zeal Miticide is a 72% etoxazole miticide in water soluble packets that provides long-lasting control of spider mites, including two-spotted spider mite, Pacific mite and European red mite. It affects all life stages of mites including eggs, and its translaminar activity controls mites on both sides of the leaf. Zeal is tough on mites but easy on beneficial insects and is an excellent fit in resistance management programs.

Zeal is applied by ground (or air where labeled) as a full-coverage spray, ideally early in the mite life cycle at or before threshold, since it is predominantly an ovicide and larvicide. Drop the unopened water soluble packets into the partially filled spray tank and allow them to dissolve completely before adding other products. Follow the crop-specific rates, water volumes and seasonal limits on the label.
