454 Bags 5 mil vacuum bags are made from 454's proprietary plastic blend, developed for storing harvested plant material rather than meat or sous vide cooking. After testing multiple resin formulas, 454 engineered a film with stronger seals, better oxygen resistance and better puncture resistance than generic vacuum bags. Each bag is pre-cut to 11" x 24" with one solid black side and one clear side.

The black panel blocks UV light to protect light-sensitive material, while the clear side lets staff identify product without opening the bag. Use them with standard or commercial vacuum sealers wide enough for the 11" edge for bulk storage, post-harvest packaging, long-term oxygen-restricted storage and transport between facilities. Made in the USA and FDA food-contact safe.
