Frost Guard is a lightweight non-woven polypropylene crop cover that buys you temperature at both ends of the season - laid over the crop it traps enough heat to hold off frost damage on the nights that would otherwise end a planting.

Tenax rates the cover by degrees of protection. The 4 degree grade is the lighter cover for routine cold snaps; the 8 degree grade is heavier, for harder frosts and later into the season.
